Stop Nailing the Way — Empty One Thing So There Is Room
Don't Name It to Death
Use when: you are forcing a theory, a plan, or a self-image to cover more than it can.
Steps
- Catch the capture. Where are you turning a living situation into a fixed name — a verdict, a brand, a final plan? The name is already smaller.
- Empty one vessel. Fewer words in the next conversation. One opinion not announced. One tab closed. Space is the useful part.
- Look without grabbing. "I don't have to finish this into a thing." Mystery and the world's edges can both be looked at. Neither needs your ownership.
- Use what is hollow. Leave time unscheduled. Leave a decision unforced. Let the empty center do work your extra spoke cannot.
You'll know it worked when you had more room in the hour — not more explanation of the hour.
